Following the release of their latest album Intimacy, Bloc Party announces details of a UK tour in January 2009. Tickets are on sale now.  This will be the bands first UK tour since December 2007.    

Bloc Party release a brand new single Talons on Wichita Recordings on 20th October 2008.  The single follows on from the bands latest album which was given a surprise release via the bands website last month and will be available as a physical release on the 27th October 2008.

Bloc Party, currently touring in North America, return to the UK to play a Q Awards show at London’s Kentish Town Forum on Tuesday 30th September 2008 and a very intimate performance for MTV’s Gonzo at the Glasgow Barfly on Sunday 19th October.

Following the London show the band head off to Brazil to perform at the South American MTV awards before continuing their world tour in support of the new album. The tour is to stop-off at North and South America, Japan, Australia and Hawaii before the end of the year.
